Alpine Cow with Bell
Alpine Cow with Bell is an original artwork by Ken, featured in the 2025 VMX VETartNOW inaugural art show in Orlando, taking place from January 25-28. The event will showcase the work of over 30 veterinary artists, and you can follow the VETartNOW group on Facebook for updates.
Ken was inspired by an encounter with an alpine cow during a hike in the Austrian Alps. There, cows wear bells so farmers can easily locate them while they graze high above the tree line in summer. At the end of the season, farmers herd them back to their farms, parading through the local towns.
